A fantastic new store has made its way onto Carnaby Street, London: Queen The Greatest opened its doors on September 28 and will stay until January 2022. With a line-up of limited edition music releases, exciting fashion collaborations, and lifestyle products, the store also features visual installations that act as storytelling from each of Queen’s historic five decades.
I popped along, and I must say it is a must for any fan of Queen. I especially loved seeing the past live photos of the band and fell in love with quite a lot of the merch in the shop. It was also a real treat to be up close to signed guitars. I also treated myself to an amazing exclusive Freddie Mercury T-shirt. The proceeds go to the Mercury Phoenix Trust – the charity founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor, and Jim Beach in memory of Freddie Mercury and raise vital funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS.
If you want to go down and buy exclusive items, play on a very cool Queen pinball machine, pick up a T-Shirt to support the Mercury Phoenix Trust, or go and look at memorabilia, there will be something for you to enjoy.
The new store will have weekly new product drops and events, and each month will have a theme, Music, Art & Design, and Magic. So, what are you waiting for?
