Kicking off their sold-out Peach Club tour on November 29, Emarosa played a show at Holy Diver in Sacramento, California.
The first opener of the night was Vaines. He did a great job of setting the vibe for what the rest of the show was going to be. Between his easy-going sound and fun stage presence, it made it an enjoyable set to watch. Next to play was Too Close to Touch. At this point, the crowd seemed to be getting more into the show. Everyone was singing along and moving to the music. Plus, the band looked like they were having a blast on stage, which is always nice to see.
Finally, it was time for Emarosa to hit the stage and they opened with ‘Hell of It’. As soon as the intro started to play and the band walked on stage, the energy in the room skyrocketed. It was obvious they were extremely well prepared to play the new music from Peach Club. They had such a cool and entertaining stage presence, it made it impossible to lose interest in the performance.
Lead singer Bradley Walden did a great job as a frontman as well. Between giving his all while singing and making sure to interact with the crowd, it made the set even more memorable. Some of the highlights of the show included when the band played ‘XO’ and ‘Ready to Love’. During ‘XO’ there was a part where the crowd took over singing and it sounded great. It seemed like the band was even taken back a little at that moment. ‘Ready to Love’ is the band’s latest release, and it was great to see how well it translated live. The song is done in such a way that the vocals aren’t overshadowed by the music.
The band closed the show with playing ‘Cautious’; that had to be one of the best closings to a show I’ve seen, and I’ve been to a lot of concerts this year alone. The energy between the band and the crowd was amazing. Everyone was dancing and singing along so loudly. It was the perfect way to kick off a tour.
The Peach Club Tour is the start of a new chapter for the band. The band performed all their new songs with newfound confidence. If you were able to purchase a ticket for a stop on the tour, you are in for a great show.
